Below you will find frequently asked questions along with the rates for all the products we offer. Just click on the question and you will be immediately directed to the the answer. CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHAT "DIGITAL ARTWORK" REALLY IS?

Digital artwork is something that is created on a computer using various types of software programs to achieve the desired effect.  Our particular specialty is digital illustrations - drawings of various subjects.  We love animals of all types and have created many illustrations of pets for their owners.  We specialize in dogs and cats, but can draw any pet using your photograph as a guide.  We create unique illustrations and print a limited number of these cherished keepsakes. 

CAN YOU PRINT THE ARTWORK ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN PAPER?

Driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art, we create illustrations often noted for their unique style, vision, and imagination. Using vibrant colors and strong lines, we make our work an excellent choice for a wide range of projects and purposes.  Not only can we print your illustration(s) on photo paper but they can also be printed on canvas for a more artistic look.

WHAT ARE THE SIZES AND PRICES?

Precision Grafix is able to meet all of your personal creative needs.  Our illustrations come with a money-back guarantee and we are able to provide you with many sizes. The following are the general sizes we provide:

5x7 (standard - no matte; no frame) -

Custom Greeting Cards (using your illustration)

Our greeting cards are designed using the illustration(s) we have created especially for you. We can personalize the actual greeting of the cards specifically to meet your needs.  In addition to greeting cards, we can use these images to produce bookmarks, postcards, or notecards.  Each greeting card comes with a matching envelope.  We also provide stationery with illustrations we already have in stock.  These items are offered at 20% discount over the standard cost. Some of these are digital freehand illustrations drawn by our designer or are illustrations we have created for previous clients with their permission for use.  In any case, you have many images to choose from for your stationery.  Our prices are as follows:

Stock Greeting Cards (using images we have in stock)

You can choose from any one of our stock illustrations to use for your greeting cards.  If however, you would like us to create a unique illustration of something other than your pet, please refer to the prices above.  Greeting cards with our stock illustrations are priced as follows:

NOTE: All cards can be ordered in any of the above sizes except for notecards and postcards. 
The notecards are small (4" x 5.25") only. The postcards are medium (4.5" x 6") only).

We offer numerous types of greeting cards such as Anniversary, Birthday, Father's Day, Get Well, Mother's Day, Sympathy, Thank you, and Thinking of You.  In addition to standard greeting cards, we can also provide you with invitations and holiday cards.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

There are a few ways to place an order or obtain additional information.

3. Complete and submit the 'Contact Form' on our 'Contact' page.
4. Whether you are ready to place an order or just have questions, please feel free to contact us and we will try to accommodate your needs.

HOW DO I SEND MY PHOTO(S) TO YOU?

The best option in getting your photo(s) to us is to attach them to an email and forward to
pgrafix@bellsouth.net.  If you prefer to mail via the U.S. Postal Service, please contact us via telephone (407) 267-4112 and you will be provided with an address.

CAN YOU COMBINE MORE THAN ONE PHOTO INTO ONE ILLUSTRATION?

Yes we can. We prefer that your photos have similar focus and lighting and the subjects are approximately the same distance from the camera.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE AN ILLUSTRATION?

We usually require approximately three to four weeks per subject to complete your illustration.  However, should you require your artwork sooner and you would like to place a 'RUSH' on it, we will try to accommodate your needs if at all possible.  Depending on how large your order is and how soon you will need it will determine the additional charges.

CAN I SEE A PROOF OF MY ILLUSTRATION BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY BEGIN?

Yes.  We will send you a proof of the artwork via either email or U.S. mail along with an "Approval of Artwork Statement".  Should you not be satisfied with the proof and would like to make changes, you can either email us with your specific changes or you can write the changes on the actual proof and mail it to us. We want you to be completely satisfied with your artwork, so whatever the changes we will strive to satisfy your request.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE ILLUSTRATION YOU CREATED FOR ME?

At Precision Grafix, Inc. we will work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied with your illustration. If after a reasonable number of revisions you are still not happy with your proof, we will refund your original deposit. However once you give approval of the final proof, no refunds will be granted. Please keep in mind your illustration is an artist's rendering or representation of the photo you provide. The final piece will not be an exact replica of the photo. However, we will strive to provide you with a cherished keepsake with style and imagination.

HOW MUCH MONEY (IF ANY) IS REQUIRED UPFRONT?

Upon placing your order, we require 50% upfront.  We will then immediately begin drawing a proof for you to review.  This proof will be sent to you either by email or U.S. mail (your choice).  Upon your review, we will then make any changes you require. After you approve the final proof, the remaining balance will be due.  Upon receipt of your balance, your artwork will be shipped to you.

DO YOU MATTE AND/OR FRAME THE ILLUSTRATIONS BEFORE SHIPPING?  

Yes. We can matte and frame your illustration for an additional $75.  Most generally, we would matte your illustration with a neutral color (white, black, tan, cream, etc.), however should you have a specific color in mind for the matte, we will strive to accommodate your request  The frames are very basic standard frames in three different colors (white, black, or brown).  Also, because glass can be very expensive to ship, our frames use Plexiglas.  Most of our clients order the matte only, because choosing a frame can be a very personal choice.  We leave that decision entirely up to you.

CAN I ORDER MORE THAN ONE COPY OF MY ILLUSTRATION?

Yes, of course you can. You can order as many prints as you would like at an additional cost of $15 per photo print or an additional $25 per canvas print.

DO YOU HAVE A SATISFACTION GUARANTEE?

At Precision Grafix, Inc., we want to be sure you are completely satisfied with your illustration.  If after you have reviewed your proof and we have made all the revisions you requested, and you are still not satisfied, we will completely refund your initial 50% deposit you made upfront.  However, once your proof has been approved by you and your illustration has been shipped, we will not be able to grant you a refund.

HOW DO I PAY? 

Currently, I can only accept checks or money orders as I am updating my website. PayPal will be coming soon and you will be able to pay using your Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card. Until then you can send your check or money order via U.S. mail.
